Privacy policy

Bibbed is a race-planning app. This page says exactly what we store about you, why, and how to get rid of it. We keep it short because the list is short.

What we collect

• Account: your email address and, if you sign in with Apple, the identifier Apple gives us. We never see your Apple password.
• Preferences: the sports you pick, your home country and time zone.
• Your Path: the races you follow, whether you are registered or finished, a finish time if you add one, and your reminder settings.
• Alerts: if you turn on push notifications, the device token Apple issues so we can deliver them. Emails go to your account address.
• Pro: whether you subscribe, and the Apple transaction identifiers needed to honour it. Apple handles payment; we never see card details.
• Photos you upload: the image, when you sent it, and the race it belongs to. Approved photos are shown publicly with the credit you choose.
• Corrections you send: the text of the correction and the race it refers to.
• Groups: the group name and the members' first names, shown only to the group.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your data.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not use advertising identifiers.
• We do not read your location. Race distances and suggestions use the country you chose, not GPS.

Product analytics

To see which features are used we may record a small number of product events (following a race, opening an alert, tapping a registration link, marking yourself registered or finished) with a random user identifier. If we do, the events are stored with PostHog and never combined with data from other companies.

Who processes data for us

• Apple: sign in, push notifications and subscriptions.
• Vercel and Neon (Singapore region): hosting and the database.
• Vercel Blob: storage for uploaded photos.
• Resend: sending email alerts.
• Open-Meteo: typical weather for a race location. Only the race's coordinates are sent, never anything about you.
• PostHog: product analytics, if enabled.

How long we keep it

As long as you have an account. Alert history is pruned after a year. Deleting your account removes your account, follows, alerts, groups, device tokens and pending photos immediately; approved photos stay published under the credit you gave unless you ask us to remove them.

Delete your account

In the app: Profile → Account → Delete account. Or email us from the account address and we will do it within 7 days.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted at any time. Email support@bibbed.app.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app before it takes effect. Older versions are kept in the project history.
